United Punjabis of America recently hosted a spirited golf outing at Tamarack Golf Course in Naperville, IL, in support of the UPA Scholarship Program, held in collaboration with the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. The event aimed to raise funds for educational scholarships, continuing UPA’s commitment to empowering future generations.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Sarita Sood, Chair of the Scholarship Committee, who opened the program and greeted guests with heartfelt enthusiasm. Attendees then hit the fairways for a friendly round of golf, followed by a delicious dinner and a vibrant musical night. Talented community singers lit up the stage, sharing their voices and celebrating the spirit of unity and giving through song.
During the evening program, Brij Sharma, Chairman, and Atul Wahi, President of United Punjabis of America, proudly announced the formation of the UPA Advisory Board—a strategic step toward strengthening the organization’s future. They took a moment to recognize and applaud the collective efforts of the UPA Board of Directors and Executive Committee, whose dedication and teamwork have propelled UPA to new milestones in community impact and organizational growth.
